About

My name is Charlotte and I am the author of this blog.

I created it back when I first got accepted into the Disney College Program back in late 2011, but the idea behind it had been in the works for a while.

Disney is a one in a kind experience with no other theme park coming close to it's atmosphere, and most recently, no other parks matching their food. Clearly, they want to have good food, but for some of us out there, we can't always enjoy that food. Since 2007, I've been intolerant to gluten and since then I've developed an intolerance to soya and quinoa. Because of this, I've found it hard to find things to eat at theme parks. Disney knows, they understand, and they've slowly been improving to help all their guests with allergies and intolerances.

This blog is to help tell you want you can eat and what is good to eat. Of course, there is also my experiences at the parks mixed in, to give you ideas as to what you can do while there.

Additionally, I review places to eat around the Disneyland Resort, because sometimes we don't always have that golden ticket to get beyond the Magic Kingdom gates.

A bit more about me.

From January to August 2012, I participated in the Disney College Program. An internship at Disneyland where I attended two classes about the company and worked in A Bug's Land as an attractions cast member.

I graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in cinema, emphasis in screenwriting.

Currently, I am enrolled in a culinary school in London, studying patisserie.

A bit more about the blog.

It is on facebook! The Disney Eats Facebook Page is where I notify readers of new blog posts and any news regarding any and all food that has to do with Disney.

  1. Thank you for this blog. My daughter is in the park today and due to her Hashimoto thyroid condition she has decided to put herself on gluten free diet. She called me for food recommendations off the computer. Band with and battery in DL is awful. I found your blog and emailed it to her, no problem. Thanks again. P.S. she couldn't make it down to City Hall for their brochure.
